Fuzion Classics Vol. 6

This is part 1 of a 2 part mix originally titled, “Marathon Mix.” I mixed this tape back in 1989 and it includes classics from Inner City (Good Life), Farley Jackmaster Funk (I Need a Friend), Steve Hurley (Do It Good), PFantasy Club (Fantasy Girl), and Ten City (That’s the Way Love Is).  I will post part 2 next month.  Before you listen to this mix, I’d like to apologize for my goofy “drops” throughout this mix.  See in 1989, I was young, happy, and carefree.  These qualities of mine during the late 80’s often bled into my mix shows.  I was having fun… all the time!  If you can get past some of my goofiness from back then, you will probably enjoy this mix   Oh, and then there’s the fact that I couldn’t afford a microphone back then so I used a pair of headphones as a mic – LOL!  Wow. 

Anyway, there’s a lot of classics in here; songs I had forgotten about until I recently went through my old tapes to find this months classic mix podcast.  I had a blast listening to this mix recently; I don’t think I’ve heard it in 10 years.  Anyway, enough talk… lets get down to some classic house music.  Enjoy!
